African Forest Lodges is a greenfield hospitality firm developing a hotel and activities center in the Kereita Forest in Kenya to encourage eco-tourism. The location is a critical watershed and requires long-term management and conservation strategies that require careful consideration. Stratlink was engaged to provide financial advisory services and to raise capital to realize the vision of the founders.

StratLink acted as a financial advisor to African Forest Lodges, and provided strategic and financial planning support to the company in order to raise the requisite capital to initiate phase 1 of the project.

This process included the preparation of a financial model, investment teaser and investment memorandum which was distributed to various potential investors.
