Qotto’s vision is to leverage decentralized and digital infrastructure to empower African populations and unlock development opportunities.

Qotto provides affordable access to electricity and the Internet through distributed micro-infrastructures, such as Solar Home Systems (SHS), internet hotspots and offers users digital micro-finance services in partnership with financial institutions.

Approach

StratLink supported Qotto with financial model building, marketing document generation, investor targeting and selection, due diligence facilitation and term sheet negotiation.

Outcome

The engagement resulted in a €8 million investment led by IBL Group to offer Qotto’s off grid solutions in the East African market.

The fundraise will support Qotto’s expansion in support of its goal to impact one million people in four countries by 2026.
